Washington, DC – Leading agricultural trade consulting firm DTB AgriTrade today announced that Gina Tumbarello has joined the firm as a Partner beginning February 1, 2025.
With two decades of experience in international trade, policy, and association management, Gina Tumbarello is a recognized leader in advancing agricultural trade strategies. She brings a wealth of expertise to DTB AgriTrade, further strengthening its mission to provide innovative solutions and strategies to the agricultural trade community.
“I am thrilled to join DTB AgriTrade,” said Gina Tumbarello. “Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to fostering collaboration, breaking down barriers to trade, and enhancing the global competitiveness of U.S. agriculture. Partnering with the DTB team offers me an exciting opportunity to support clients in navigating complex markets, driving sustainable growth, and championing science-based trade policies that benefit the entire agricultural industry.”
Previously, Tumbarello served as Senior Director of Global Strategies, Policy and Trade at the American Feed Industry Association (AFIA), where she led initiatives to remove trade barriers and enhance market access for U.S. animal food manufacturers. She also managed international market development programs at the U.S. Grains Council and served as a private sector advisor on the Agricultural Trade Advisory Committee for Grains, Feed, Oilseeds, and Planting Seeds and the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Advisory Committee on Supply Chain Competitiveness.
DTB AgriTrade LLP was founded in 2000 to provide legal, strategic, and tactical advice to producers, exporters, and importers competing in global food and agriculture markets. Since its founding, the DTB team has been involved in many headline-grabbing World Trade Organization (WTO) trade disputes, including the beef hormone and biotechnology cases between the U.S. and the European Union, and the U.S. cases against farm subsidies and market access barriers in China. Beyond the headlines, DTB has helped its clients solve, mitigate, and fight a multitude of policies that would increase trade uncertainty and reduce income for farmers and companies that rely on global markets.
